We are supporting our partner in the planning of a recycling plant for electric vehicle traction batteries. In order to conserve resources, it is important to efficiently recycle materials that have already been used and make them usable again. The aim of the project is to recover valuable raw materials such as lithium or nickel in order to create a sustainable approach.

We are supporting our partner in the planning of a recycling plant for electric vehicle traction batteries. In order to conserve resources, it is important to efficiently recycle materials that have already been used and make them usable again. The aim of the project is to recover valuable raw materials such as lithium or nickel in order to create a sustainable approach.
Comprehensive planning of the system
Our team provides support with the complete planning of the system. This includes the conceptualization, but also the implementation and commissioning of the plant. Safety aspects and environmental specifications had to be taken into account in the planning, as did the battery discharge and dismantling process, right through to the shredding and separation of the materials. Precise separation is necessary in order to carry out the recycling process efficiently.
Conserving valuable resources
The project is highly relevant as the disposal and recycling of batteries from electric vehicles is often a major challenge. The batteries contain valuable materials such as lithium or nickel. By dismantling and post-processing the batteries, these resources can be reused. This reduces the amount of raw materials used in the production of new batteries and protects the environment.
Through this project, we promote the conscious use of rare resources - for a sustainable and environmentally friendly use of materials!
